It’s been a busy and beautiful start to September, and I’m thrilled to share what’s been happening in my world of paint and canvas.
🎨 Rephotographing My Work We’ve been revisiting the way my paintings are presented, and I’m excited to share a newly rephotographed image of Winter Barn. This piece holds a special place in my heart—it captures the quiet magic of a rustic winter day, and I hope it brings you the same sense of calm it brings me. Another painting, Evening, has also been refreshed and is now on display at the Tom Thomson Gallery, on my website Winter Barn | Beyond Art -Victoria. Seeing it in that space is a joy I wish I could bottle.
🍁 Upcoming Exhibitions Next week, I’ll be shipping Autumn Festival #2 to the Federation Gallery of the Federation of Canadian Artists. It will be on display from September 23 to October 5, and I’d be deeply honored if one of you chose to bring it home from the Federation. This autumn, I’ll be showing my work at several exhibitions, and nothing lifts my spirits more than seeing familiar faces in the crowd. Your support means the world to me.
