Beyond Art Policies
 

Please review all the information provided below thoroughly. By enrolling in a class and settling the fees, you agree to our terms and conditions. These terms will be subject to and interpreted following the laws applicable in the Province of Alberta. By making a purchase, you agree to the jurisdiction of the courts in that province. Beyond Art may modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

 

Placement Test
Beyond Art is pleased to offer a complimentary placement test for all prospective students.
A placement test is necessary to ascertain the suitable level for each student. Complaints will not be addressed if students opt out of the placement test and enroll in an incorrect class/level. For the highest standard of education, Beyond Art maintains the authority to reassign a student to a different level should the instructor determine that the student's level is not commensurate with that of the class.

Payment Policy

Beyond Art accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, or any cards accepted by wix, the company that makes collections on our behalf, or cash.
Bank information is not recorded by Beyond Art.

 

For private lessons, students are required to declare the number of hours they intend to book and make full payment in advance. The total fee must be paid before the commencement of the first class. Accepted forms of payment include credit cards (VISA, MASTER CARD) and cash.

Organizations will be invoiced only upon providing a purchase order or letter of authority at the time of enrollment. Invoices are required to be paid in full within 30 days from the date of issue.

Privacy Statement

At Beyond Art, safeguarding your privacy and personal data is a priority. Nevertheless, collecting specific personal details from you is essential to provide effective and personalized services. We commit to collecting information only with your informed consent, using it solely for the intended purposes, not sharing it with third parties without your explicit permission, disclosing it to other entities only when legally obligated, and deleting it from our system when it is no longer necessary.

By engaging in the classes and activities of Beyond Art of Calgary, you authorize the use of photographs and videos captured during these events without compensation or approval rights, solely for materials designed to promote Beyond Art of Calgary's activities. Group Classes
Students must be at least 15 years old to enroll in an adult group class. Parental permission is required for minors.
Individual students: All fees are due at the time of registration. Students are required to enroll for the full course. There will be no pro-rating for classes missed or late enrollments. We reserve the right to decline enrollment if a student has missed the first week of classes.
There are no make-up classes for absences. Students may contact their teacher to discuss the material missed. Private tutoring is available for a fee to provide additional assistance.

Beyond Art retains the right to cancel, reschedule, or alter the timetable of a class if the number of enrollees is inadequate.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy
Group Classes: Registration becomes final once the course commences. Beyond Art is not liable for any changes in the students' work, school, or personal schedules. Withdrawal from a group class is permitted if requested in writing to Beyond Art, Calgary, at least five (5) full business days before the class starts. There are three (3) options available:

1) An 80% refund; OR
2) A transfer to a different class; OR
3) A credit to the account, which must be utilized according to credit policies and is subject to administrative fees.

Withdrawal notices received less than 5 business days prior to the beginning of the class will not be eligible for a refund or credit. It is important to note that not attending a class does not serve as a notice of withdrawal.

 

Private lessons require a minimum of two full business days' notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Notification must be provided to both the instructor and Beyond Art's administration. Failure to provide two business days' notice will result in the student being billed for the full cost of the class. After commencement, course registration is non-refundable. Beyond Art is not liable for any changes in the student's work obligations, educational or recreational activities, timetables, or personal situations. Exception: A doctor's certification of medical illness will exempt a student from charges for a missed class.
